Preview a site under construction

Using a combination of two plugins and a couple of special settings, you can effectively keep up an under-construction page while you work on a website.
Use the Under Construction Page plugin by Web Factory Ltd and choose minimal options. You will have to css out the silly little animated GIF, but basically you can put in some HTML and an image, etc. Set it so the Subscriber level user (as well as Admin) can see the full site.
Then, use Peter's Login Redirect to send all Subscriber level users to the home page for both login and logout. Also set the user(s) individually to NOT show the Admin bar.
You can also use the Coming Soon plugin which has a brief contact form and works better out of the box but alas, it does not work with Peter's Login Redirect.
